A feature on my camera I accidentally enabled

I do not know when it happened but each time I click a photo it keeps saying ''recording'
It is not a feature for clicking videos and I see that icon on the screen
Mine is a digital Sony Cyber Shot DSC H-300 I am trying to get rid of that icon and I do not know how exactly to do it
Any idea? Thank you

I can't help you other than say again to check the owners manual, if you do not have one then download one. Good luck.

When you view one of the pictures you have taken, does it have a date and time stamp
