The bugs are insane.

This year seems to be a little worse with bugs.
We have killed at least a hundred spiders (banana and orb weavers) in the last two weeks. There have been dozens of brown spiders we have had to kill as well. They just keep getting in the house and I'll handle a lot of things- but spiders are a nope. They don't scare me and I'm not grossed out by them - I just don't want them to bite us or the kids.
The mosquitos have been crazy too. Especially tonight. I went outside with Chris while he was cleaning the lawnmower and got seventeen bites- in just 30 minutes. I got a yellow fly bite on the bottom of my foot and when I walk I can feel the puffy/swollen. So that's fun.
I always hope the skeeters will just vanish from existance. But that hasn't helped yet.

How come there are so many bugs ! Is it due to the muggy weather ? However spiders also eat the mosquitos.

We always have bugs. But there's more this year, it seems alike.

@thislittlepennyearns You may as well spray some pesticide.

@changjiangzhibin89 No. I don't want a bunch of chemicals around my kids and dogs. or me.

I honestly haven't seen a lot of bugs until this past week as the heat started to roll in...and oh, the bugs are out there now. I got bit by something last night, taking out a bag of trash. I felt it sting but it was gone, came inside and my son said ''mom, you have blood going down your cheek!'' and I did. Whatever bit me left a big bite.
