Have you ever had to sleep at a train or bus station?

I have heard stories of people having to sleep at the bus or train station for different reasons. Some were traveling and heir journeys were delayed, others had nowhere to sleep and had to be sleeping at those stations for some comfort. Have you ever find yourself sleeping for hours or days at a bus or train station?

Yes indeed and a few times at that.
One year in the 70,s got stuck in Aberdeen bus station because the roads were all blocked with snow.
Within the city limits were fine but I was going over 100 miles north and all the roads were blocked.
Had a really cold night at the bus station but got a hotel the next day.

We are a hardy bunch you know.
Hard as nails.
It's the heat I am afraid of
The cold is an occupational hazard
And we are well used to sub zero temperatures and the days of 6ft of snow in the winters

@Ineeddentures that's true. Some people still have to work in those freezing temperatures.

Maybe sometime when I get older i have to do this every people save money to deal with ages

@ogbenishyna44 about 20 years ago that happened to me i remember I didn't sleep just spent all night sitting at a train station

@ogbenishyna44 Yes. There is no train station near me, and a bus stop is 4 miles away.

Yes, few times depending on the time and unexpected delays; if possible I try to book retiring room in the train station

@ogbenishyna44 We do have retiring room and waiting room in Railway station unless it is small station however sometimes it is difficult to get even dormitory retiring room.
