Preiti and Lolly were best of friends

Preiti and Lolly proved that cats and dogs can get along very well Lolly was a stray but made himself comfortable with Preiti Both played together, took strolls together
Lolly in particular was a friendly cat. He got along with every body. Sadly a tom cat mauled him and he left us
Wherever he is I hope he is doing well.
In the photo you see both Preiti and Lolly waiting for the door to be opened.

It's really cool when cats and dogs can form bonds like Preiti and Lolly did.
Heartwarming to say the least.
A real pity the tom cat.who mauled Lolly didn't get on with everyone

During the mating season the stronger tom cat rules the roost. They must have been fighting for some female in the vicinity

The same happens here.
You can hear the cats fighting
It's not so common now as most people gets cats spayed so there are no babies
