The wonder of CHATGPT!

I just finalized my Singapore itinerary — and believe it or not, I did it with the help of ChatGPT!
I started with just a list of places I might want to visit, but ChatGPT helped me turn that into a day-by-day plan — complete with:
? Top attractions like Gardens by the Bay, Helix Bridge, and Merlion Park
? Local spots like Maxwell Food Centre, Bugis Street, and Lucky Plaza
? Hidden gems like the National Gallery and Value Dollar Store
? Transport tips, nearest MRT stations, and even alternative routes
? Suggestions based on my preferences (non-spicy food, budget-friendly shopping, and walkable areas)
What I appreciated most was how flexible it was. I asked to switch hotels from Geylang to Clarke Quay — no problem. I wanted alternatives to the Botanic Gardens — done. I even asked if I could use my Grab app from the Philippines in Singapore — answered!
??? Now I have a detailed, personalized itinerary in PDF format — all ready to go. It's like having a travel agent, local guide, and friend rolled into one.
If you're planning a trip and feeling overwhelmed with options, ChatGPT is seriously worth trying. It saved me hours of research — and it actually listens to what you want.

I hope it didn't also make up some of the things it told you... AI has a tendency to do that. Good luck!

I provided all the details about my arrival, the places I plan to, and hotels, allowing ChatGPT to organize itinerary efficiently by determining the fastest routes. The AI was able to calculate the best times travel and recommend whether to take a train or taxi. I even added an additional itinerary that I initially forgot and asked it to identify the most suitable date for its inclusion. Chat didn't add anything that I did not provide though. I have made many revisions along the way and it never complained at all.

@rsa101 Interesting... Since ChatGPT can lie, I hope you've checked with all those places yourself, just in case...

Yes it is free they have the premium plan but I never subscribed to it. It is good to have revised over and over again and it patiently revised my itinerary. Just provide the dates and it will provide the best itinerary you need to. You can also ask to suggest if you are out of ideas to visit in your day.

We relied on tour conductors for our tours. They take care of everything whereas CHAtGPT just helps you with the itinerary

Of course, we have the final say over the tour itself. We'll check to see if the recommendations are correct. However, what impressed me was the speedy response; regardless of how complex you want it changed, it comes back almost immediately, as if I were speaking with a local expert.

As I supplied all the information and ChatGPT assisted me in organizing it according to what's close to my hotel, everything appears to be going really well so far. Being aware of the location made it simple to confirm that the recommendations were correct. Although the itinerary retains a human touch, it's truly amazing how easily it can be changed. The process is much quicker and easier than if everything were done by hand. It can be quite tiresome to think about things like timing, available transit, and whether it's better to walk or ride, but ChatGPT made the process easy and manageable.

When my wife asked me to start organizing our itinerary, she was surprised that I immediately opened ChatGPT and began asking to create one. Within minutes, I had a very organized itinerary to show her. When she noticed something was wrong with it, I simply asked Chat to and adjust as needed, and it did so without any issues. I just copied the itinerary, pasted it into Word, and shared it with my wife. Every time my wife finds additional places to visit, I ask ChatGPT to include the new spot and suggest the best day to add it. It handles the adjustments perfectly, keeping the itinerary well-organized.
