Would you put an egg in the middle of a pork pie .....

So, on the edition of Bake Off that I am now watching they are having to make 6 identical mini pork pies....but they have to have an egg in the middle. I don't eat a lot of pork pie and I am aware that you can get them with egg in the middle but it is something which just doesn't appeal to me at all. question .....should you put egg in the middle of a pork pie ....

I don’t believe I have ever had a pork pie. They aren’t a regular thing in the United States unless there is a different name for them I don’t know about.

It might be called something different but I am not sure.It's pork meat in a hot crust pastry, There is a layer of gelatine between the meat and pastry.

I'm not sure what a pork pie is but I do love eggs so might like it. I would at least be willing to try it.

I like pork pie and I like eggs ....but I wouldn't put them together.

@Traceyjayne Some places here put cooked eggs on top of hamburgers, so that wouldn't be too large a stretch... I love pork and really like eggs.

Yes An egg is an essential part of a pork pie. Hard boiled. Nice to put salad cream on Or pop the egg out with your tongue and put salad cream in the newly created hole
