Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) deputies answered an emergency call about a hog that went loose on the streets of Wayne Wisconsin on Saturday May 24. The hog fled from a farmer on Saturday morning when a deputy of the WCSO used a lasso to capture the hog. The hog then decided to take a dip in a ditch when the farmer and deputies then used a construction vehicle with a huge shovel to reel in the hog and return the hog back to its owner the same day. The farmer learned his lesson to have a more secure pen for his hog not to run away from home again. Link is upi.com/3651748454060 via @upi

That is true that hogs are hard to catch since it is easier to tackle to huge a football player.

Good thing he didn’t end up as bacon on the deputy’s plate! Great job by everyone.

You are right that the hog did not wind up as a meal at that time.

Perhaps the hog just wanted to hog some more time, and attention, to itself. It was good the hog was not hurt in the capture, nor hogtied.

Good thing that the hog was not harmed in the capture by the authorities either.
