I just cannot imagine that we had so many cats living with us We fed them and had them around making their presence felt
I do not recall where they came from but suffice it to say they were all well cared for and loved.
Today there is only Peppie boy and ofcourse Billu who is a guest as I cannot say she belongs here She just walks in and demands food and yes we feed her too

I discovered something bad about Billu. She messes in the house and that to on the bed and the couch I will have to stop her from coming inside.

@allknowing - That is really not good, she has not the habit to stay inside.

That sounds so familiar—we used to have that kind of setup too when I was young, living in my grandparents’ house. There were always several cats around, and somehow they just became part of the household. Some stayed, some came and went, but they were all fed and treated like family. There was even one, much like your Billu, who wasn’t really “ours” but would just show up regularly for food and attention. We never questioned it—we just made space for them.
