Short story: The coming and going of love

The Zen master, Helklu Zerboski, told his students that life is not short, nor long, nor does it pass at all. Life has no coming, or going, no entering, or departing.
Here is some more of what he said about, life and love.
"Life always lives as life, and you always live in life too, for life is merely the energy of love moving through creation, be it a rock, or a tree, when love moves through it, it is alive."
"God is love, and when you become love too, love becomes you, because all is love, and love gives life to all."
"Let love be constantly alive in you, and do not let love just come and go, as then, you will think that life comes and goes too."
"A heart is made wise by its loving."
"Holding not onto love, allows love to hold onto you."
"Wisdom smiles in you, when love remains itself in you."
"Do not try to change love with your mind into anything else, by adding useless thoughts to it, and so painting love with your mind, giving it a different colour than it really is within you."
"Love passes between one soul, and the next, and must not be bottled up, as nothing bottled up can be drank by anyone else, not even you."
"Love is the point of every koan, and sharpens it to life in you, when you see it from eyes of love, and from a heart of love too."

The old Zen master was very old, and looked it too, but his words always brought others to greater life, and love.

Thanks.
No. I only write my short stories here on mylot. I used to write on other writing sites, but the other sites I wrote on have closed. I like to write short stories, with some type of a meaning in them.

@innertalks Have you ever heard of Medium? I think that you would be good there as well if you ever want to expand your sites and views for your writing. :) I enjoyed this and I will make sure to come back and read more. I am going to try and share a few of mine here as well. I have some that I can share on this site.

@Keyia120 No. I have not heard of medium. I have written on a site called writerscafe, which seems ok.
I have found that short stories have to be fairly short here, as most people do not seem to want to read something too long. Short stories seem to be ok here, but for most people here, it seems to be more a social interaction site, for them, so I do not get so many reads, for my short stories.

Yes, love certainly grows in its sharing. A love not shared is not really love; it is more just selfishness.

The Zen master is wizened with age and also wisdom.
Love touches the heart but is unfortunately in short supply here. In fact, it is endless but we are more led by hatred, suspicion and ego.
Love unshackles us from prejudice, pre-conceived notions, and is an enabler of life well lived.

Well said, siva.
Yes, love brings us softness of heart, compassion, and empathy for others; instead of our wanting to roughride it over others, we think of how we can help, and support others, instead.

@innertalks Thanks Steve.
Love leads us to the all inclusive goal for mankind "treat others as you want to be treated".
Then we will have a feel of heaven right here.

@Shiva49 Yes, right now, a feeling of heaven here is still far away, especially with missiles, being fired off, and landing, in many parts of the world. It must feel more like hell to people living in these areas.
