No, I have not gone back to eating fish and meat but thoughts do wander when this was one of my best soups eaten in a Chinese restaurant It was so good that I learnt how to make it and made it so many times that my husband had to say "It is nice but do not make ti again"
When it comes to Chinese food I like most of what they cook except those that are too hot Talking about hot they always had that bottle of tobasco on the table which I never reached for

I never had those choices to compare. May be I too would go for any of those if I got to taste them.

@allknowing I like more crab and corn than the corn chowder, the New England clam chowder is very good. There is also a very simple corn chowder that is delicious.
