I serched to find out if there were other brands of dark chcolate eclairs just for a change but did not find any I get four packets each having 60 eclairs both hazel nut and dark chocolate. Talking about eclairs I got a pack of Cadbury eclairs as a birthday gift. I opened the packet yesterday and they were stale and not consumable. I gently informed the one who gave me the gift as if they have a bill it can be returned. The expiry date is still a long time away They were milk and not dark chocolate eclairs. I was anyway planning to give that packet away but now it has to be returned to the store

good call on checking the expiry date and gently letting the giver know.

I am keen on reporting not just for othis pack but they must know their product needs to be banned. I kept the stuff in the fridge and yet it was beyond consumption

If it is stale and not consumable, it is better to return them. Enjoy your eclairs.

One has to produce the bill and I only hope they have it It is within the expiry date and to think it went stale within that period. Waiing for the Luvit chocos. I just love them.

Weird that the Cadbury eclairs are stale even if the date is still long time away expiry date. I would send an email with photos to Cadbury.

I can do that. I have asked for a bill and that can be replaced. Cadbury will ask for details from where it was bought, etc.

@allknowing - I contacted companies in the past informing that I had received the product as a present. They asked no proof of purchase, only the photo of the package.

That's disappointing. They would have been good, if they weren't stale.

I love milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Both taste really good to me.
