We didn't get any specific details and we hope our time staying home today isn't going to be wasted.
The HOA pays to seal our aggregate driveways ($400) and hires the guy to do it. We were told that he's going to be here today. That's all we were told. Not a specific time. Not whether he's sealing today or just pressure washing today.
We can't drive on the driveway for 24 hours after it's sealed, so we either have to take a car out and park it on the street overnight, which hubby will not do, or leave the cars in the garage and stay home all day and not go out, which is what hubby has chosen to do.
Now we're just sitting and waiting to see if anyone shows up.

He came around 10. Did something, but not a full re-sealing. It looks awful! He called last night and we told him it wasn't acceptable.

I'm thankful that I live in the country and don't have to deal with HOA's. But it seems like you would be given at least some sort of window of time that they would be arriving.

Hope he shows up and you're not sitting in the house all day for nothing.
