What book/s do you recommend and why?

When I was younger, I used to read 3 or more pocket books within a week. However, now that I am older, I rarely have the time to read anymore. I learned that there are online books that one can read instead of buying books or going to the library. I would like to start reading anew. I feel my vocabulary and grammar have deteriorated. The more unique it is, the more I am curious to read it. I'm not the Mills and Boon type of reader. I am more of Leon Uris' "Trinity" or L. Ron Hubbard's "Battlefield Earth". What book (online or offline) do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I like any books by Robin Cook or Michael Crichton. Anne Rice is a good author too. Good luck.

Yes, I've read some of their books too of the first two, and I liked them. I've heard about Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice, but I have not read it yet. Thanks for the thumbs up.

Some of my usual recommendations are Drowning Ruth, Water For Elephants, and The Glass Castle. I also love Kristin Hannah's Winter Garden and True Colors.
