Chris just came in for a drink and let me know that one of his earbuds apparently drowned in sweat. Pretty frustrating, especially since they’re not even that old—I got them for him just last month, and he really liked them. I tossed the earbud in a container of rice to see if that might help dry it out and hopefully bring it back to life. Fingers crossed. I think for his next pair, we’re going to go with over-the-ear headphones instead. I found a pair on Amazon for $28 in the brand he likes, so when I get paid next, I’ll go ahead and order those for him. Hopefully they'll hold up better! I’ve got one sample that’s supposed to arrive in the mail today, and four or five more that should be on the way in the next few days. I always look forward to getting those little surprise packages—it’s a fun part of my routine now. I also spent about ten minutes on the phone with Walmart support, trying to get a refund issue sorted out. The person on chat support was... let’s just say not very helpful. Kind of snippy, honestly. So I ended up calling, and the guy I talked to said I should see the refund show up in 24–48 hours. Hopefully it actually goes through, because I really don’t want to have to go through that whole process again—but I will if I have to. Not much else exciting going on today. I’m working on the daily challenges in my games to earn a few bucks, and wrapping up the laundry. Most of the chores for today are already checked off, so that’s a win!
