Who is the greatest detective .....

I realise that there are people from all over the world on here so the detectives I am going to mention I know not everyone will have heard of.... I love a good murder mystery, and I think my favourite author has to be Agatha Christie. She is the creator of POIROT and MISS MARPLE. Both of these detectives are truly amazing and unique. They are definately my top two. who are your favourite detectives .....

@Ineeddentures I don't watch Eastenders ....but I am vaguely aware of who you mean ....but a detective ! rabbit is good with potatoes and veg Soul got in trouble when he met the Silver Lady

Poirot was always an interesting character. My wife watched him a lot for a while, and loves Murder, She Wrote. I've always been a big fan of Columbo.

oh yes, Columbo ...he was great too Jessica Fletcher seemed a bit 'safe' and a gentle detective ....it was a good show though

@Traceyjayne I always found Murder, She Wrote to be a bit corny. But I guess that's also what makes it fun.
