It's Going to be a Long Day

I got a shift at EMS today so it's going to be a long day. I'm hoping for a boring one. I know Chris isn't happy but if I figure it right I actually get paid more for a shift here than a day with her and that's being paid about a dollar less at EMS. The big discussion right now is if I'm going to sign this contract for AEMT or not. For EMS to put me through the class, I have to sign about a four year contract with them. Now at first I was all for it because where else would I go? I'm pretty happy here part time. What made it a discussion is my dad's health. If he continues to decline and my mother doesn't do something about the house, I told her I'll go back home to Maryland. I know she doesn't want me to but if she won't make the hard choices here and something happens, I don't have a boat load of money to pay in taxes for the place. I can't even keep us afloat right now. So it's something to consider. Not that I've told anyone that but my husband. My sister has been wanting us to move back since forever and now that she's three doors down from my mother in law we've been kinda watching houses. It would be a dream to live with both of them. Thinking that way though, there are so many things here I would need to wrap up. Loose ends to tie. Now that I'm thinking about it, it's hard to stop and I'm already wrapping those loose ends up in my mind now. There's always been a part of me that wants to go back. I like the life that I left up there but I also like the life I've built here. I've fought to be where I am now. I just don't know. I wish I could say that I've had a chance to read but I haven't. We've been watching Ink Master though. My husband and I take about an hour or two depending on the night and watch a couple episodes. They put the whole series on Prime and we're on season 2 right now. About half way through now. There's probably more to write but I can't think of it right now. The living situation has like clogged my mind. What is everyone else up to today?
