Something from Yesterday

Yesterday, as I think I mentioned, I took the bus to the library.
A lady got on that I recognized--I knew I had spoken to her before.
We chatted some, though with the noise from the bus I had some trouble understanding her even with my hearing aids in.
I noted a pin she was wearing, and because I liked Americana/patriotic things, I told her that I liked it. It wasn't until she was taking it off to give it to me (I knew another lady that did that when I said I liked something she had on) that I noted it said 9-11 on it.
I believe that I will put it on Mom's hat that I have--which has a couple of other US pins on it (plus of course a Canadian pin for Mom herself).

These little interactions often leave the biggest impressions. Thanks for sharing that moment.

That was a really nice thing the lady on the bus did.
People taking to each other on the bus does not really happen here.
If you speak to someone that does not know you they are paranoid that they will get mugged or robbed
