Black rice Idli

Reading through the nutrients of black rice. I bought a kilo online and set on making different dishes with it. The primary object was to get its benefits. But sadly I did not like any dish I prepared with it The colour itself put me off. So far none of the dishes that we make have a black colour. Had to wish goodbye to black rice

I did not even buy because of the colour. The only ingredient I know with black coulour is the squid ink, that it's used in some recipes.

The color wouldn’t have bothered me unless it affected the taste. How did the taste differ from regular run of the mill rice?
