Career Goals and Ambitions

Today was kind of an off day. It seems to always be that way with me lately. The day started off normal. I woke up for my early morning shift. - I am a scan coordinator and actually love my job. I am in charge of the price changes at my store. I am actually the lead in my department of two. Our company uses something called "subscription" to make sure the products are registered under a location in the store so that we can easily change prices and keep up with things. I was unable to really get any major subscribing done this week so far which really sucks. I want to be the person who when one of the operations managers needs someone to subscribe a store, they call. I want to be an expert in it. I am still struggling with my store director leaving. I am happy for him, he got to retire. I probably will never be at a spot to do that, but the dude is the reason I have my job. I am honestly scared for the future here with someone new. He was very understanding with my medical issues. He hired me knowing that I had bad luck in the past at other jobs. I am headed to bed soon, so I have a better chance at getting something done. I go in Saturday too and hope to get a huge subscription done . That is my goal for myself... number one subscriber. Haha. What do you do for work? Do you like it and do you have any goals?

I am retired. Yay for me. Do I have any goals, I think it's fair to say that I measured up very well in achieving goals I had

I retired at 50. Not sure what the next chapter will be, if there is one. We'll see. But glad to hear things are going well for you and hopefully your new boss will be someone who works well with you and is not a tool.
