A Treat Going Over the John James Audubon Bridge

I took this shot about 2 weeks ago when we were coming home from looking at a boat! This one did not come home with us, it just needed too much work and not worth the effort. However, the beautiful rainbow that greeted us going home over the John James Audubon Bridge was gorgeous. I later found out that this was actually a double rainbow, but it did not show up in this area as a double at all, but still beautiful. I wish that I could have captured a shot of this bridge better for you, because it is a beautiful bridge and only a few years old. It was built to ease the flow of traffic over the Mississippi River in surrounding parishes. The next closest bridge over the Mississippi River is in Baton Rouge, LA. This one is in St. Franscisville, LA and should have been placed further away in my opinion, but I wasn't the one bribing officials making this decision. Have you ever seen a double rainbow?
