2am and it's getting warmer and warmer

2am here in our small rural one horse town in Angus on Scotland and the temperature has risen to a mind boggling for us, 18C.
It's strange. Really strange.
Usually at this time of day we would maybe have 11C at best.
This 18C is not good. Actually the only good thing is is that later today it's a high of 20C
Imagine a cold air fan on in wet windy cold Scotland at 2am.
I know that most of you experience far worse temps than we do , far higher, but we are not used to this.
It's horrible

This strangeness in weather has been there for months now The way it rains here is something that I have never experienced before.

It's been odd here for a few years.
When you don't see much snow in winter and see double figure temps on January here you know it's weird
