Just when I was planning on preparing carrot halwa I read that carrot halwa has reached the International Space Station, which the Indian Astronaut carried with him along with other goodies. It will be shared with those out there that include other foreigners. Carrot halwa will now become famous and I am sure many will make it at home. As I have mentioned elsewhere in a post carrot halwa is eaten by scooping it out and does not have to be cut Once I get those carrots form the stores I shall make it and share it with you Carrots are called Gajar in India https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Gajar_ka_halwa#/media/File:Homemade_Gajar_Ka_Halwa.jpg Image credit:

He has carried moong dal halwa and mangoes too for dessert. I think it is desicated mango pulp. I make gajar ka haiwa in December and January when we get the seasonal red Delhi carrots, the long ones. They are better for halwa.
