Loving yourself

It's human nature to care about ourselves first. Self-preservation is a human instinct that we all possess. Even animals aim for self-preservation. It is said that no greater love there is than that of a person who sacrifices his/her life for a friend. Are you willing to do that? Perhaps, for our kids, hubby, and family, we can, but what about a friend? Where do you draw the line between self-love and narcissism? Image is mine.

I can sacrifice myself for my husband, who is also best friend of mine. Self love is a positive trait while narcissism is negative. If you are being comfortable who you are, love and respect yourself, take care of yourself, you are into self love. You love and enjoy your life the way you are. Narcissism is about self obsession, you are self centred and full of self. You don't care about others at all, you out yourself above everything and everyone in a very unfair one

I don't want narcissism will ruin my life. Instead , I will always love myself and I don't want to be in a relationship with a narcissist.

My thought is that I can do self love like buy what I will like to eat, drink, and taking care of myself instead of bragging about myself. That is the difference I think between the two.

I don't know if I could sacrifice myself for a friend. I probably would have for my hubby.

That's good enough. At least you don't care only about yourself.
