I am not a fan of Sunday nights.
It is a fact that the weekend is over and back to work day coming up.
That’s usually the feeling.
At the moment we come to Moms for Sunday lunch, The Mister does a few jobs for her ….today, filling the car with petrol, weeding, edging the lawns, then he tootles off to do his shopping and sorting out his van and doing his mountain of sandwiches for his weekday lunches.
I, on the other hand stay at Moms, until my arm is fixed and I can do things for myself I am staying with my Mom.
I love being here and spending time with Mom is special and I miss her when I’m not here.
Likewise I miss spending the evening with The Mister, watching tv, having a drink, having supper together.
I miss him during the week when he is working away.
I look forward to when we can finally retire ….about 7 years !

7 years is not long to wait
It will pass more quickly than you might want it to

Unfortunately there are changes going on at work that are not good.

Well pack it in and retire early.
Spend some quality time doing what you want while you can.
Work isn't everything
Neither is money

I'm sure you'll enjoy retirement when it happens. We've really enjoyed ours.
