A very blessed Sunday

Our old church (the one that burned three years ago) had a dedication of their new Fellowship hall after church this morning. The service was good and there were lots of visitors, most relatives and/or neighbors. The new sanctuary opened a few months ago and is so pretty. They were able to save several parts from the fire like the pews, communion table, pulpit, and alter. It looks so similar to the original and is really nice. I tell you, that church and this community has many good cooks. The hall is large with a great kitchen, open light windows, and round seating tables. Such an enjoyable time. I was scheduled to sing a special, but they still don't have the equipment for it yet. Hopefully soon. Came home and had a delightful nap, planning to sit in the shack out back later when it cools off. Hope you've had a great Lord's Day wherever you are.
