I Need Advice.

You see, my eldest sister gave me her old iPhone. I am an all-time Android user but my kids and hubby are iPhone users They all use my Apple ID My daughter and I exchanged iPhones because the one my sister gave me has more storage. My daughter set it up and all that, and she now has her own Apple ID Now my problem is I forgot my passcode to open my iPhone, which I set up around two or more weeks ago. Does anyone know how I should go about this? Opening the iPhone or resetting it without the passcode. Any advice is appreciated, I am now searching for ways too.

My advice is throw the iPhone away and use a good Android phone. I don't know any reason to switch to an iPhone. *sigh* If you've forgotten your passcode, you can factory reset your iPhone and then do a "restore" from your iCloud. This will restore everything you've saved to the Cloud and you can put in a new passcode into your iPhone...

I will try that. I'm almost next to illiterate when it comes to iPhone

@rakski You'll try my first advice or the second? I had to help people with all types of phones when I worked at Walmart.

@DaddyEvil I will try the second one first and if one will not work, then the first one for sure

Having patterns helps a bit more than passcodes. Personal experience! Factory reset is a more plausible option. If nothing works - approach the FBI

@rakski Yes. But then there's probably nothing in between that'll help. Even they were brought down to their knees.

I'm sorry, I've never had this problem. I've always remembered the passcode to open my phone. Maybe a factory reset would help?
