28th June - sudden and heavy rains here. Shoes of yours truly got wet and to some extent trousers too. Yet the Met department categorized them as another pre monsoon showers. Next day : 29th and more rains and we'll, it is officially the Monsoon in the Capital region! I wonder if the Met department is scrutinizing each and every rain cloud movement for categorization? While the Monsoon arrival day did vary a day of two, things are still within a good accuracy. Now, with another good and rainy Evening, it means that we are likely for a good (and may be even excess) Monsoon season. Rest we will have to keep a watch. How is the weather in your place?
