A couple of weeks ago, Chris mentioned he was craving homemade orange chicken. So when I did our grocery order over the weekend, I made sure to grab everything we’d need to make that happen.
Tonight, I finally made it—homemade orange chicken and homemade fried rice!
It took about an hour and a half from start to finish, but it was totally worth it. Everyone was happy—even the kiddo said it was really good. I used a copycat recipe for the batter this time, which is different from how I usually make it, and it turned out great. Chris went back for three plates! ??
So that was dinner at our house tonight. What did you make for dinner?
Let me know if you'd like it to sound more formal, humorous, or anything else!

@thislittlepennyearns I like it best out of the oven. But my crisper pan was dirty so a no-go there.

@thislittlepennyearns It's not as good as restaurant or homemade, but I find it to be quite good, if not a bit on the sweet side.
I do the chicken pieces in the wok and they are crunchy.

Your dinner sounds delicious! I ate leftovers from yesterday´s Chinese doggy bag. And I bought donuts for dessert.
