No nuts for the birds !!!

We popped into the pet shop this morning to get some nuts for the birds in Moms garden.
The shop is in the centre of town and she doesn't go into the centre very often....and usually when she does the pet shop isn't open ....The guy only opens on a few days a week and varies his days so it's never easy to catch him open....
Anyway, we searched for ages for the nuts and then we had to ask ....." oh no, love, they've all gone ! "
So, sorry birds ...this week it's just bread and bacon rind for you ....

I hate when that happens, I learned real fast like that
to have plenty of bird feed on hand we buy the big
bags & not just 1 but like 3-4 at a time so they can
always have food any time they want it & I have a
lot of bird feeders out filled to feed them all.

i usually try to get them for her but i have been off work since April which is why we have run out. We do usually get up to five bags at a time......we have been giving them other things so they haven't gone without. We feed the squirrels too.

We stopped trying to feed the birds here... The squirrels always scare the birds away and steal their feed.
