This friend of ours called and he needed a new lap top. Would we please go with him to help him pick one out. Than help him set it up. How can anyone refuse him the nice way that he asked.
We went over to his apartment at 10AM and from there we went to 3 stores and found a good sale at the last one. We ended up buying from the last store with the good sale. Got it at a really good price and now it was 11:30 AM.
He offered to buy us tacos at Del Taco. I am glad they rebuild and are open now. The taco are filled to the top. We left Del Taco at noon.
Went back to his apartment. He than asked us if we would help him set up his new laptop. That was really hard he forgot half his user names and password. So I grabbed a notebook from my car that I got at a yard store for a quarter and had him write down the new user name and new password for each site.
Each time he was send a code for each site.
Finally at 7PM we were done. The downloads were all done. And he signed back on his computer without any trouble. So we left and went and got a pizza at Little Caesars and got home at 8PM.
That sure was a long day. Oh the man is 92 years old and does really good. But it was hard for him to except new technology.
It is 9:17 PM and we just had some lemonade and we are relaxing watching Criminal minds and on our laptops.

That IS a long day. 92? Wow. My husband was 83 and didn't know how to turn on a computer. He said he was a dinosaur. I offered many times to teach him but..... That was really nice of you to help him.

@jstory07 I'm jealous when I hear that. I can only walk about 50 feet. God bless him.

I have to give him credit for trying. My dear aunt of blessed memory wanted NO part of computers or technology.
Very sweet of you to help him out!!

I like having a computer and would not be able to live without it.
