Do you save more and spend less?

It is understandable to be concerned about an individual’s overspending. One way to help that person is to recommend an app or financial advice to offer support. It is tough seeing someone, especially a friend, potentially facing financial hardship, especially when he or she is new to the workforce. You can suggest to your friend to explore some budgeting tools or financial literacy resources. There are many free apps and websites that can help with tracking expenses and creating a savings plan. Maybe you could explore these resources together, making it a fun and collaborative activity rather than a judgmental conversation. Let us not judge too .

I have always lived well below my means, saved, and invested, and most of what I spend these days as a result are proceeds from investments rather than newly earned income from jobs or other things. My money makes my money.

That's the good thing when there's an investment.

@porwest I started investing when I was 17 years old. I invested in Bagrass Eucalyptus, Mutual Funds, and Local Stocks.I also have my milk tea business in the mall. It is just a small business to enjoy saving for the future.

@cacay1 If you want to ever have money, invest it. If you want to never have money, just get a job. lol

I try to save whenever I can. It is not for us to judge others how they handle their finances. If someone ask for advice, then I offer them some tips that might help them. It is really difficult to see a friend or co-worker or anyone to undergo financial hardships

@rakski yes that's true. Helping a friend for something important like saving is admirable.

It is a tricky conversation to have when your friend is in dire financial trouble, yet they seem clueless about how it happened. Meanwhile, it is clear to everyone else.

@AmbiePam, at least we can help someone in a little way. My friend started to save now. It is never late.

I save a certain amount each month for an emergency. I have a certain amount that I can spend each month.

You are a very responsible wife and mom. Some moms don't like to save but spend a lot.
