I can't help Batman

It's been days since my Mother in law has been luring Batman and fed him junk and food that aren't safe for him. Batman has diarrhea and we've been wondering where we went wrong. Robin seems fine and but not Batman. He stopped playing with Robin and all he would do is sit and wait for food. And everyday around 5pm to 6.30pm he goes downstairs to eat those junk food. I came up with the solution to feed him earlier so he will be full and won't go there unfortunately he still goes there after immediately after he is done. Then I came up with the solution to feed him and close all windows and doors to prevent him from going there but he meows like he is crying at the doors and windows to get out and go there and breaks my heart to see him like this. To me both these kittens are like my child. What's heartbreaking is that when he goes there and my husband goes to bring him back he hides and run away from my husband and goes to my mother in law. As if she is his mother. Batman spends all time with us. His father bathe his, cleans him and took care of him when he was sick and now that he doesn't have diarrhea anymore he is crying to go to my mother in law again. I requested her not to do so and so did my husband but she has this evil smile and continues to do it anyway. She has been feeding her sugary, salty and oily food. I'm trying hard to protect Batman and I can't keep seeing him meowing like he is about to die if he doesn't go out. And either can I close my windows forever. I have a one bedroom house. My house is small but my husband and I make sure they have everything they need. Toys, clean indoor litter, water and food. We play with both of them but Batman has always been given especial treatment from his father. He even sleeps with his father on the bed. He loves cuddling with him and all but when he goes down he acts like he is scared of my husband and runs away. Sometimes when there are guests they give my husband that look like he is trying to hurt Batman. Robin on the other hands is always home and eats only at home. He doesn't like going to my mother-in-law as she hates Robin. She knows Robin is very close to me and always stays close to me so whenever she sees him she scare him away. She even threw water on him the other day. His father was very angry but didn't fight her. Instead my husband supervise Robin when he is outdoor playing or pooping. P.S yes Robin likes to go out doing his business because then he will play outdoor a bit then come back home. He used to stay at home before but ever since Batman stopped playing with him he started wanting to go out a bit more often. He spends like 15 to 20 minutes then comes home. I don't know how to help Batman on the other hand. I can't close my windows forever. It's winter so it's easy to close it for the moment but what to do when summer starts? I can't close the windows then. I'm trying to train him to stay in. I got new healthy treats for him which he is loving but he still wants to go down as food is over here. It's been very stressful regarding this situation without any solution. And my husband and his mother doesn't get along. She is very abusive. She would always abuse on our cat. Which is why we decided not to get any. But now that we moved out and have our own home we decided to adopt one. For years we've been looking for one kitten and now that we finally have them in our life she is jealous and still finds her way to play her dirty tricks. She lives downstairs and I live separately on the top floor. There is no avoiding her. My husband and I are trying hard to help Batman but nothing works. Does anyone knows how to teach Batman or stop him without making him sad from going there and eat those food?

I don’t know what you can do if your evil mother in law is going to insist on being evil. I sure as heck hope she doesn’t give him anything poisonous to cats.

I'm sorry that is happening but don't know any solutions for you. I wish I did.
