We decided to buy a gammon joint when we were shopping last week.
There are different ways of cooking them but today we are boiling it in a huge pan of water.
It will be sliced ready for tea later.
Now we have to decide what to have with it.
We thought potato and leeks but as the weather is quite warm we may just have salad.
Tomorrow we will have whatever is left with fries cooked in the airfryer.

I think you are cooking it as I would,
I'm not really an experienced Gammon cooker lol.
You said fries, oh no.
Salad might be a better choice

Of course.
I just wouldn't buy shop stuff
Too vinegary and inconsistent

We often buy a ham already cooked and sliced or I will buy pork shoulder and either bake it with veggies (I don't like pineapple glaze on ham.
) and mustard or I boil it with mustard and spices and then slice it and freeze most of it to thaw later for sandwiches.
