Natural remedies ….or old wives tales ?

I saw a book advertised recently that contains natural remedies ….i am interested in this as I am not one for pills and potions. I do, however, use man made medicines. I would rather use natural products whenever possible. Years ago there were no ‘proper medicines’ and people used natural items and were cured of illnesses. That got me wondering …what do you think ….do you trust natural remedies or think it’s a load of mumbo jumbo ?

Some natural remedies are real cures or, at least, they help with symptoms... Some are hogwash and have more to do with the placebo effect. The problem with most natural remedies is that the doses might not always be the same, depending on how they're made.
