Ever since the introduction of WhatsApp there is a tendecny to send a common message to groups which reduces the one on one interaction to a great extent
There are different groups - friends, classmates, neighbhours, family, church,......
I am for one on one interaction and that is the reason why I have not opted for WhatsApp
Sometimes important information is sent through WhatsApp and it is possible if WhatsApp is not accessed that information will be lost
There was a death in the family and since I am not on WhatsApp I was informed individually but my sister failed to access her WhatsApp that day and did not know about it until I told her the next day.
What's you veiw on WhatsApp

I love Whatsapp. It is a great communication tool. You can interact with a group of people or have one-on-one communication. And you can also make calls to your friends overseas free of charge.

I am aware one can do lots of things but the truth is most resort to a simple messasge for all. Face Book has the messenger where one can send messages and calls all over the world all free

When one has that option one cannot ignore groups and I know the number of shares you will find You will be busy just deleting them

I have WhatsApp and ONLY use it for one-on-one interactions. I have gotten several requests to join groups and block anyone sending those out. I don't care if someone thinks there's a "good reason" to send out such a request. If I wanted to join a group, I would have already done it years ago.

When requests are sent and one ignores those requests there is bound to be an element of ill feeling created. I have avoided that by not optng for WhatsApp altogether

@allknowing I've never known anyone sending those requests out so I don't care what they want or why.

I think whatsapp has made my life easier. I remember I had to photocopy notes and visit my friends' house physically to collect the same. Whatsapp made everything easier.

I know not many will be with me but there are other modes such as email and face book that were there years before WhatsApp and can be efficiently used.

Well I do not have what's app so I do not have a view on it at all .
If it helps people talk to each other either one on one or in groups that's great
