Have you been keeping up with Nora Roberts latest trilogy? It's called the Lost Bride trilogy and I just finished The Mirror, the second book in the trilogy in January. It's about this woman who inherits a house. the house is huge and has a long history of being haunted. For good reason. It really is haunted. By the ghosts of dead brides as well as some of the help that has been employed there through the years. Sonya moved in and had to come to grips with her cheating ex-fiance and now the haunted house. The witch that haunts both the ghosts as well as Sonya has made it her mission to chase her out of the house. However, she's too invested in the house now. Sonya has fallen in love with the house, the town and the ghosts that keep her company. It's her job to find the Lost Brides' wedding rings. There's 7 and all 7 she must find to break the curse. I can't wait to get the third book in September. She's been ending her trilogies on cliffhangers so I really should be prepared to wait for the next book but I always find myself jumping up and down in anticipation. I'm just dying for the finale now. If you've read these, are you ready for the finale? If you haven't read them....what are you waiting for lol

I don't read anymore but, when I did Nora Lofts was among my favorites. This reminds me of a book called The Bride of Pendoric by another author, Victoria Holt, which I read many years ago now. Edgar Rice Burroughs, who wrote Tarzan and many others, is said to have started this art of the cliffhanger I remember reading the first of his Mars series and each chapter ended in a cliffhanger. I spent an entire day at the park reading it . I didn't realize I had been there so long until I looked up and saw it was dark.

I have a bad habit of doing that if people leave me alone long enough. I hate cliffhangers but I seem to be living with a few of them

I have heard good reviews about this author, but I have not read any of her books. September is fast approaching. You don't have to wait too long for the next book.
