Animal control officers rescue a kitten trapped inside of a storm drain

Thanks to the team up of Livermore Police Department Animal Services Officer Kathy Holmes and city employees from the Livermore Public Works employees who were needed to rescue a kitten who was inside of a storm drain near Preston Avenue on Wednesday June 4. The city employees were able to remove the storm drain cover so that Officer Holmes could rescue the kitten in a humane manner and get the kitten was taken by Officer Holmes to the East County Animal Shelter where the kitten will be placed up for adoption.
