The foxes were out ….oooohhhh what a noise !

So, about 2.30 last night ….or this morning ….i heard an almighty scream !!!
It actually happened several times ….i soon realised it was an animal and not a human !
I guessed it was a fox and didn’t take a lot of notice ….but it went on for a while, so eventually I peeped out of the window.
I saw a fox running down the road and he stopped at the house opposite and for a moment I thought he was going to go down their drive, but suddenly he carried on running….followed a few seconds later by foxy number 2.
They both ran about three house down the road and then disappeared over the garden.
The noise continued for a few minutes and then all was quiet.

They can make a right noise
Have you ever heard them mating?
They sound like Wimbledon tennis players.
Do you give them snacks?

The Mister will put food out for them at home. Mom doesn’t though.

Very friendly is you get to know them
Doesn't take long to get them to come right up to you

@Ineeddentures to be honest we don’t see a lot by our house, it’s round at Moms, that’s where they like . We only live about a 7 minute drive from her. She is close to the woods and we are close to the arboretum.

I'm surprised nobody called the cops! If I heard screaming in the middle of the night, I'd definitely call the police!

@Traceyjayne We have coyotes, bears and wolves around here. When Pretty was younger, we went "camping" at the lake about an hour from our house. I had a Dodge Daytona that had ample room in the back if you put the back seats down and we took sleeping bags, blankets and pillows so we could make beds in the back of the car and watch the stars and the wildlife around us.
I had never heard a mountain lion before but it sounded just like a woman screaming in distress... We kept looking, trying to figure out what we were hearing until it walked out of the forest around us...

Our wildlife is limited to foxes, the rare badger, cats and birds during the day.

It was clear it was an animal. It happened sometimes around where my Mom lives …you get used to it.
