Do you use a library ? / myLot

I always loved to go to the library when I was a child….i have always had a great love of books and reading. My Mom used to take me, however her view was very different. She was never happy that you never knew where the books had been. I used the library probably into my late teens …. I would also borrow records and tapes when I was doing hospital radio. I know that in today’s world we have google and kindles , so just wondering ….do you use a library ?

Not since I switched to ebooks years ago, although, I have six or eight thousand ebooks stored in the Kindle Cloud.

@traceyjayne I frequently use my local library, especially when my wife is doing the hoovering.

When my son was little, we often went to the library. We borrowed many books. A good habit was formed at that time. Reading is always good for children.

oh i do agree ...and working in education myself you can tell the children who have access to books and those who don't.
