To do or not to do

I know the decision is on me, but I would like to 'ramble'. like many of us do here - like old friends.
The university has extended an offer for a board exam review class for one session. I was excited at first because I had been retired for more than 10 years, and the idea of lecturing again was inspiring.
However, now that I think about it, since clinical chemistry is a field of discipline in science, I will have to update myself on new methods and technology. I am now too lazy to do research.
So, how's life on your side of the globe?

I wouldn't want to do something so technical anymore since I have been retired for a while.
It is almost our Independence Day celebration... People all around us are starting to shoot off fireworks... It will be a noisy 24 hours!

Maybe you should try it. Today is our Independence Day. There will be lots of fireworks during the 3-day weekend.

That spark of excitement means the passion’s still there, but it’s also okay to recognize that diving back into updates and research might be more than you want to take on right now.
