Story time!! I had a boyfriend, he was a bit younger than me and he was okay with him, i loved him and he loved me. We were doing so well and people admired us, the communication was so perfect. Fast forward……… one day he visited me, we went to the nearest mall we bought lunch and went back home, it was time for him to go back to his place… ohhh I forgot i forgot i liked watching pictures of us in his phone gallery. One day i tried to get his phone to take pictures of us, suddenly he refused me, i was like what’s up why are you all the sudden refusing me to touch your phone…… i was curious then we fought for his until i got it. Guess what i found!!!! He was cheating me with another girl … I quietly went inside and never spoke to him for one week because obviously i didn’t expect that of him. It was too much for me to bear. I forgave him and we moved on…. We started having differences from that time until now when he told me we can’t continue with the relationship because of the age difference… Is it okay to ghost him until healing process is done and moved on

That’s heartbreaking. After all the love, trust, and forgiveness you gave. Using age as an excuse after betrayal feels like a cover for deeper issues. You deserved honesty and consistency, not heartbreak. Sometimes walking away is the only way to protect your peace.

@Mulena you have to love yourself first. Re-learn to love yourself. Then you MOVE FORWARD with your life Life does not end with him. You can create new beginnings

This story type comes up quite often You can ghost him for ever if you want Why would you want to speak to him again after he cheated on you. That is the worst disrespect of all The age difference may well have played a part but it is not an excuse to cheat on someone You are better off without him Truth

Welcome to myLot. What is the age difference? It just sounds like an excuse. Find yourself an older guy, as young guys are immature.
