"Holy cow, I forgot! It's the fourth of July!" May the force be with my friends in the US. Happy 4th of July!
I had witnessed one such event in 2019, and the fireworks were spectacular. Incidentally, today is also the Fil-Am (Filipino-American) Friendship Day. So, we're celebrating with you, but it's not a holiday here, though.
Our Independence Day is June 12, and it is a National Holiday here. Perhaps the Fil-Am Friendship Day is a way of showing respect for the bond that the US has forged with the Philippines.
Did you have fun this fourth of July? What celebrations did you attend?

I have two whose birthday falls on July 4.
Pouring rain here. Spent the day at home.

Thank you. Except for the two hours of fireworks from my next door neighbor, it was a quiet day for me.
