I always liked having flower arrangements in the house and the best choice for doihng that was asters They had long stocks, came in several colours and stayed fresh longer. To suppor their stems I used to put ferns among them. The ferns added class to the flower arrangements What was most satisfying was to visit an aster farm on one of our holidays in Bengaluru.
