This trial is a BIG deal in the state of Kentucky. It centers around a young mother of 5 who disappeared in 2015 in Bardstown, Kentucky. Her name was Crystal Rogers. She was 35 years old at the time of her disappearance. At the time she disappeared, she was living with her boyfriend, Brooks Houck, who was the father of their 2 year old son. He claims She was gone the next morning when he woke up, and her car was not in the driveway. He's the main person of interest in the case and this is his trial that's underway. There's been a LOT of shenanigans in this case. Houck's brother was a police officer who hid evidence. Some clothes were found buried beneath one of Houck's properties. But wait . . . it gets worse. One year after Crystal disappeared, her elderly father was shot while hunting. His killer has not been found yet either. You see, the family has been very vocal about the disappearance of their daughter and pointing fingers at the Houck family. A few months ago one suspect was found guilty of moving Crystal's car. His father and Houck are now on trial for the murder and the jury will start deliberations tomorrow. It's all very sad, very juicy, and very interesting all at the same time. There's even a Wikipedia page about if if you want more details:

I could be wrong, but I believe this case was featured on the show, “Disappeared” which airs on Investigation Discovery.

You and I both like that show Amber, and I can never find when it's on. Sometimes I just run into it unexpectedly. Do you know when it airs?

@snowy22315 It isn’t airing new episodes right now (sometimes they ‘ll go two years between seasons), but I have some unwatched episodes on my DVR. I’ll check the channel guide too since they air sporadically. I just discovered the reruns air on Hulu too. I have my DVR automatically set to record new episodes, so if they ever start airing new episodes I’ll let you know.

That trial sounds like it would have been a good one for Court TV.

I am sure there will be a documentary on this soon if there isn't one already. Definitely sounds like a juicy one. But of course, they are also very tragic.
