I'm not the expert that @porwest is but I do try to save money where I can so I can spend it where I want. Except of course you all chastise me for shopping at Walgreens, which is uber expensive and I'm not really getting a "deal" on my deals.
So I came across some money-saving tips that I thought I'd share a few of them with you for what it's worth:
WATER TEMPERATURE
Lowering your hot water heater’s thermostat from 140 degrees to 120 degrees could save you more than $400 per year
VAMPIRE ENERGY
Yes, those appliances you have plugged in all the time, like your toaster and your coffeemaker actually do use energy even when you aren't using them. They can actually make up to 10 percent of your home’s energy use even though they're turned off.
DRYER VENTS
Cleaning your dryer vents can help the machine run more efficiently and reduce the risk of future maintenance issues
Those are just a few. I'll be sharing money-saving tips for other areas (grocery shopping, insurance, etc) in future posts.
We have a 2400 sq ft house and our "average" utility bill is below $100 so we must be doing something right.

Don't have a dryer lol
That will save even more
We don't have one.
But we can hang out laundry out to dry on a washing line in the garden
All good good you have supplied though.
Well done on that

I am definitely one of the chastisers over the Walgreen's stuff. But hey, you like shopping there. Some people enjoy stubbing their toe and deliberately kick things. I can't stop them. lol. As for your utility bill, that's impressive. I can't get mine under $200 no matter what I do.

I had the dryer vent cleaned for the first time ever. I'm surprised there wasn't a fire. They said the lint was packed in there. I constantly check the apples to apples online chart for gas prices. I just signed up for a cheaper rate. Thanks for the tips.
