What's New With Me

I enjoy reading about the Victorian Age which was from 1837 until 1901. It was an interesting time. I have found a video on YT about life during that time. How young people were expected to act, social etiquette, servants, dinner parties, mourning, and the implements woman used to signal the opposite sex. Very interesting. I will write a bit about each for your reading pleasure. But, today it is too hot. Supposed to get up to 104. It's like an oven in here. My hip and knee hurt worse in the heat than they do in the cool of winter. I feel like a slug. Not sure how one would actually feel but I feel like a crawling pathetic thing. Not much life in me. We will see how it goes.

I'm sorry it's so hot. I recorded a show narrated by Henry Winkler which tells about the bogus cures of the 19th century. For example, they sold Heroin over the counter as a better option to morphine. They said it wasn't addictive. I am very interested in that period; so I look forward to your posts.

And women used beauty products that had arsenic in them. I am going to at least one more today.
