It is time to get out the head of lettuce for Pete Hegseth

It has been reported that the Secretary of Defense (Hegseth) approved withholding arms aid to Ukraine last week without informing Trump or the White House. Trump hasn't been interested much in assisting Ukraine and it is a big GOP talking point to withhold aid but in his quest to earn the Nobel Peace Prize he has also been growing increasingly frustrated with Russia's Putin since he won't agree to a ceasefire in that war. He has been speaking more sharply about Putin--guess he forgot about the kompromat that Putin has on him. Anyway Trump was asked during yesterday's Cabinet meeting about the pause in delivery of aid. It was hilarious that Hegseth was literally sitting right next to Trump and Trump played dumb like he had no idea who authorized it. He did commit to sending defensive weapons to Ukraine which is more than he has done in months/years. Hegseth is supremely unqualified to be Secretary of Defense. He already faced scandals about his treatment of his wife, his drinking, etc. before his confirmation hearing. Then there was the group chat on Signal about a military operation that had not yet been launched. Now there is this Ukraine aid issue. I think it is time to break out the head of lettuce for Hegseth's remaining tenure as Defense Secretary. (see: Liz Truss if you don't get the reference) I wouldn't be shocked to see him fired via tweet in the coming weeks. Or this week. Or today.
