I hate voicemail messages. I can see you called, I'll call back when I can. Unless it's something like a reminder from the dentist. Even then, a text is preferable. Please text before you call, I've always hated talking on the phone, so a warning is helpful. I use those emojis. I wonder what the rationale is for that. I don't care if people wear skinny jeans. Anytime I'm working with a student in the classroom, I'm focused on sentence structure and expressing their information fluently. I agree, don't use plastic straws. I have metal ones to bring. Paper straws are wasteful also. I haven't met anyone who would say don't pay with cash. My nephews/ grandkids never complain when I give them cash. I rarely use cash. I never liked or used that phrase "man up".
