One of the many things my dear departed BFF gave to me was her love for the Star Trek original NBC television series. There are several episodes that come to mind but the one that is my real favorite is the pilot two parter "The Cage". It was about the previous captain of the U.S. S. Enterprise, Captain Pike and what happens to him when he gets the distress signal from the fourth planet in the Talos star group. There have been many Star Trek series and movies since the original series back in the 60s. I found a new series advertised recently called "Strange New Worlds". It is the prequel to the original Star Trek and the U.S.S.Enterprise, when it was manned by Captain Pike. I have watched sever episodes.( It is supposed to have 5 seasons) and is in the second or third now. It is well written and the characters are well defined. I am really impressed by the dialogue and it is interesting to see what was going on before Kirk came on the scene. Spock and many of the others are there, just early in their careers. I am glad I came across it. It is on Paramount+ which is really an app to have if you are into Star Trek.

It was just on that pilot episode about him. I think it's cool they have created an entire series about him.

@RebeccasFarm .......Sorry to hear that his surgery was a success. Does he have other options? Our place is going okay. We are waiting for the notification of the inspection. I like the new flooring. So much better than the rug. And, only 15 more payments on it to go.
