Walnut tree

During our Kashmir holiday we had the good fortune of looking at a walnut tree. Walnuts grew freely there and not wher I live.
We also saw green walnuts being put to dry in the sun We bought walnuts with shells very cheap as well.
Although walnuts are supposed to be good for health I do not much like them. I do not like almonds either My favourite nut is peanut. I eat them in different forms - peanut butter, peanut chikki, boiled beanuts, roasted peanuts and I even put penuts in some of the vegetables that I cook.
What is your favourite nut?

I like pistachios but they come salted and that puts me ooff.

My favorite nuts are cashews and hazelnuts, followed by almonds and walnuts.@LadyDuck (502190)

@allknowing Hazelnuts are delicious nuts, I toast them a little bit, so they are crunchy.
